Every item at Lulu Jewelry Boutique is handcrafted personally by myself, Laurie Davis. The name "Lulu" comes from my nickname in college. I waited tables at a local restaurant and would speed through the waitstations leaving a chaotic mess! Co-workers affectionately called me "Hurricane Lulu". The nickname later got shortened to "Lulu" and hence the name!
I started designing jewelry several years ago and gave several pieces to family and friends as gifts. I then got busy with other interests for awhile and took a break from my jewelry hobby. Then a few years later I started making jewelry again, perfecting techniques and teaching myself new ones. In 2007 I began the steps to turn my hobby into a business. Inspiration for my designs come from emerging fashion trends. I also love to go through my own closet for style ideas and colors to use in my pieces.
I grew up in Illinois and moved to Texas in 2001 with my husband. We currently live in Keller, Texas with our two young children and two black Labrador Retrievers.
